William MANSFIELD and Elizabeth GREEN were married in 1840 in Oakhampton, Devon.. Elizabeth GREEN, daughter of Hugh GREEN and Mary JELBARD, was born in 1806 in Sancreed, Cornwall.. She was christened on 25 May 1806 in Sancreed, Cornwall.. She died in May 1894 at the age of 88 in Penzance, Cornwall.. Elizabeth was buried on 27 May 1894 in Madron, Cornwall.. Elizabeth was living on her own in Tregavarah, Madron, Cornwall in the 1881 census. William had died by then. She was listed in the 1851 census as born in St. Creed, Cornwall. Madron is only two miles from Sancreed so she moved back to her home village.

William MANSFIELD and Elizabeth GREEN had the following children:

William Green MANSFIELD was born in 1845 in North Tawton, Devonshire.. There is no trace of William G Mansfield in the 1881 census. He either died at an early age or emigrated.

Since found a death of a William Mansfield in Oakhampton in the Apr-Jun 1851 register but no age given so inconclusive.
